    Greensboro, North Carolina Captures Lead Early To Defeat Covina, California

    Covina, California watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 5-4 loss to Greensboro, North Carolina on Sunday. Greensboro, North Carolina scored on a single by Devin Tonkins and a triple by Noah Lea in the second inning.

    Covina, California lost despite out-hitting Greensboro, North Carolina seven to five.

    After Greensboro, North Carolina scored one run in the top of the fifth, Covina, California answered with one of their own.
