Game Eleven: Aroma Park, IL 4, Greensboro, NC 5

Greensboro, NC may have taken a 4-0 lead in the first three innings, but a three-run comeback from Aroma Park, IL in the bottom of the seventh made for a close game.

Ian McMillan started off the scoring for Greensboro in the top of the first inning. With a runner on first, his inside-the-park home run made it a 2-0 game.

A bunt and an error allowed Greensboro to score another run in the top of the second.

In the top of the third inning, a line drive single to center field scored Greensboro’s fourth unanswered run of the game.

Late in the bottom of the fifth, Aroma Park got on the board with a ground ball single to left field.

Greensboro extended its lead to 5-0 on a ground out in the top of the seventh.

Aroma Park made the most of its last at-bat. A hit-by-pitch and a walk earned them two runs, with their fourth and final run coming from a line out to right field. Their efforts were not enough, as Greensboro won 5-4.
